Day 1 : Manali to Jispa
Today begins your Himalayan adventure!
Drive from Manali via the majestic Atal Tunnel, passing through lush Lahaul Valley and snowy peaks. Continue to Jispa, a beautiful riverside village nestled between towering mountains.
Overnight: Jispa
Day 2 : Jispa to Gonbo Ranjon (Sking Campsite)
Cross the spectacular Shinku La Pass and enter the remote region of Zanskar.
Enjoy breathtaking landscapes and stop at scenic hamlets like Kargiakh before reaching the Gonbo Ranjon campsite, surrounded by dramatic mountains.
Overnight: Gonbo Ranjon Camping
Day 3 : Sking Campsite to Padum
Explore hidden gems like the cliffside Phugtal Monastery, Icher Chamba, and the ancient Bardan Monastery.
In the afternoon drive through villages such as Muney and Raru to reach Padum, Zanskar’s main town.
Overnight: Padum
Day 4 : Padum Sightseeing
Today is all about exploring the cultural heart of Zanskar:
✔ Karsha Monastery — One of the largest in Zanskar
✔ Stongde Monastery — Ancient and serene
✔ Sani Village & Zangla Khar — Traditional mountain settlements
✔ Shila Waterfall — A hidden natural marvel
Overnight: Padum
Day 5 : Padum to Rangdum
Drive over the scenic Pensi La Pass, with stunning views of the Drang Drung Glacier — one of the largest in the region.
Stop at Sani Lake and Zangkul Monastery before reaching Rangdum.
Overnight: Rangdum
Day 6 : Rangdum to Padum
Continue your journey back toward Padum, enjoying sweeping views, picturesque valleys, and mountain landscapes along the way.
Overnight: Padum
Day 7 : Padum to Sking Campsite
Return to Gonbo Ranjon (Sking Campsite) via Lungnak Valley.
Explore local villages, take in panoramic views, and relax under the Himalayan sky.
Overnight: Gonbo Ranjon Camping
Day 8 : Gonbo Ranjon to Manali Departure
Enjoy a final morning exploring Singula Axis and other local sights before completing your journey back to Manali with memories that will last a lifetime.
